2020 No Kidding! Events
Here's a list of the exciting events we have planned for 2020.
January - Glass Blowing
This is an extraordinary opportunity to learn the art of glass blowing. We've done this in the past and it was awesome.
February - Super Bowl Party
We'll be meeting at Eric's house for an evening of great food, laugh-out-loud commercial breaks, and awesome football. You don't want to miss this!
March - Candle Making Class and Lunch
Candle making is a craft as old as civilization itself! Yet after so many millennia and technological advances, we still love the light, warmth, and beauty of a lit candle. We're meeting for lunch and then taking a candle making class.
April - Potluck Dinner & Game Night
Bring some food and your favorite games to Charla and Bill's home for a night of group gaming. Everyone wins when you're having this much fun.
May - Ethnic Dinner
A new culinary experience will been selected for us to enjoy. Last year, we dined at Rudy's Mediterranean Grill and it was simply incredible.
June - Food Tour

July - State College Fireworks
We're heading up to State College Pennsylvania on the 4th to see one of the best fireworks displays in the country. This will likely be an over-night event. We'll return on Sunday and stop by Indian Caverns for a tour.
August - Pool Party & BBQ
Relax at the home of Marci and Mitch. Cool off in the pool and hang out with friends. Then treat yourself to Mitch's BBQ skills. What a great way to spend a warm August evening!
September - Little Italy Madonnari Arts Festival
This festival is a unique opportunity to see some amazing artists in action as they cover the streets of Little Italy with one-of-kind 3D portraits in chalk. Talk a look at some of these images.
October - Havre De Grace Ghost Tour
Our group will take a guided ghostly walking tour of historic Havre de Grace and learn about the ghosts that haunt many of the local buildings.
November - Wolf Sanctuary
We'll be visiting the Pennsylvania Dutch country to see the outstanding wolf refuge created by the Darlington family who is devoted to assuring the highest quality of care and enrichment for these beautiful animals.
November - 2021 Planning Lunch (*Members Only)
This is the most important event of the year. Once again, we will be creating the events schedule for next year. We need every member’s input to make next year’s schedule the best yet. Bring your ideas and be ready to brainstorm.
December - Towson Planetarium
On the third Friday of the month, the faculty, students and friends of the TU Physics and Astronomy Department will give a presentation at the planetarium starting 8 p.m. Topics include astronomy and a tour of the night sky.
